Doing "baby" backs on Saturday. Haven't done many of these as I prefer the meater full spares....but wife doesn't share my gusto for full spares. Was at Costco yesterday a found back ribs (less than 2.5lbs each X3) in cryovac at a good price ($2.19/lb) so I bought a pack.

I'm afraid the homemade rub I use for pork might be too much for my wife. (Lots of pepper - too many to list here. Does someone have a rub that is mild enough (touch of heat is OK) so I don't have to grill up a burger for her?

I have three racks, I'll use yours on one and the other two with mine (I love the heat) I'll give her one or two q'd ribs with my rub for comparison and will post her unedited opinion of both rubs (I'll sit her down and politely ask her type her reviews) :D It'll be a first!

Thanks

Thanks, I've heard it's good but even FEDEX takes 2 days to get to my part of the mountain those ribs are going on Einstein tomorrow.
