Teriyaki Night

Its been a while since I grilled some short ribs ribs so today was the day. I need to do these more often they are great.

Went to the store and decided to pick up only one beer. This should do.

Went to my favorite Mexican market and picked up some 5 for a $1 corn and 3 for a $1 green onions.

Marinaded some short ribs in some Soy Vay Teriyaki sauce for about 6 hours and then on the grill.

Made some Normandy style veggies in the wok and finished them in some Teriyaki sauce.

Half of a head of cabbage on the wok and finished it with , you guessed it Teriyaki sauce.

Plated.
I would love to say this cook went without a hitch but I just finished the Normandy veggies and put the second batch of ribs on the grill and realized somebody was hitting the first pic a little too early and hard and forgot to start the rice. The ribs were still really good but the veggies suffered a little during the reheat.

Looks yummy Vermin. I really like the wok work (those two words look funny together) you do. I have a wok and a Bayou Classic burner but I've been to lazy to do the prep and set up. I got the wok and burner after seeing some of your handy work. I'm going to have to set that sucker up outside and leave it next to the grill so I can use it some.

Looks great V. I was looking at some short ribs at the store but picked up a London Broil instead. Question, did you finish that one cold beer?

Excellent teriyaki cook V9! That box of Coors Light reminded me of the old Party Ball they used to sell. When I was in college we'd buy one of those, put it in the kitchen sink with ice all around it and drink before we went to the bar. Good thing I lived a block and a half from the bar!!!
