A local cook http://www.thecookingguy.com/ copied these hot dogs from a stand in Vancouver called Japadog. http://www.japadog.com/menu_En.html on his local internet show he calls a livecast http://www.thesamlivecast.com/ The only thing I changed was wrap the dogs with bacon.

Beef Nathans hot dogs wrapped in bacon.

I cheated on the taters. I cooked them in the microwave till they were cooked, let them cool, sliced them and then fried them in a CI skillet until the outsides were crispy. Give these a try, I get asked to make these all the time and its a real simple way to make potatoes.

Hot dogs finished with grilled onions, Kewpie Japanese mayo, teriyaki sauce, and shredded seaweed. Veggies were cooked in my wok and finished with teriyaki sauce too.

Looks mighty tasty. Now assuming there is something inside the dawg maybe? If it was cheese they used to sell em at the meat markets where they posed as City Quail. I have trouble watching movies because I cant hear what they are saying since I am plugged into the NPR Traditional Classic Country channel on the sound portion. Lot trouble to go turn it off. Now I can turn it off if there is nekked ladies involved. Let me know.
