Tequila Citrus Chicken

Last night I grilled up some bone in chicken breasts in a tequila citrus marinade. It called for just using lime juice but I added lemon and orange juice as well, all from our back yard. I charred the skin to get it crispy and I must say it was very good. The only thing I'll do next time is let it soak in the marinade a little longer.

Also, thought you would like to see the scar my boy will have from his staples. I told him to tell the girls it was a shark attack :P

On the grill

Almost done

Ready to eat

Plated

The Griff man

Toby

Tell your son Griff that he has a lot of positive vibes coming his way from Griff in Alaska.

The chicken looks great.

Ya done good Toby. Next time add a couple of cloves of finely chopped garlic to that marinade - Kick it up a notch. Might try rubbing one on the boys arm too (Just kidding).

Hey think I got this deal figgered out. The Doc's are running a contest on which one can use up the most staples within a certain time frame. Winner prob get a free case of Scotch. All Doc's drink Scotch ya know? Now there are some exceptions. Old chum of mine was on a comp cook team with two Doc's from Dallas. They go out in a big old fancy Class A MH with a big slusshy Margaritoe moochiine. They stay in there and drink up all the slushies under the AC watching TV whilst my pal cooked. He say one of em stick their head out the camper door about dusk on Sat and axe my pal..."Well did we win anything?" They footing the bill on the whole operation of course. I axed my pal whut kinda sauce do you use? He say Kraft I think. They didnt win very often.
