Split Jamaican Jerk Chicken

I had been jonesing to grill a split chicken ever since I saw SurfinSapos split chicken some time ago. Finally grabbed some time and did up a dinner. Split Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Roasted Corn, Roasted Salsa, Spicy fruit salsa for the chicken and German Potato salad. I realize the potatoo salad may have been a bit off theme but I really wanted German potato salad.

Split chicken rubbed in Reverend Marvin's Original and Knox's Jamaican Jerk.

Roasted ingredients for salsa

Grilled then smoked the chicken

Great lookin meal Bryan and I don't think your potato salad is off theme at all. As long as yer bellies full and everything tasted good that's all that matters. Thanks for sharing.

LOL! I bet you have SurfinSapo. I love grilling the split chicken. It is easy to split, I did it with a knife as my kitchen scissors are probably in my daughters desk somewhere. I will be cooking chicken like this again.

The chicken was rubbed in Reverend Marvin's Original and our Jamaican Jerk Dry Rub. Simple and really tasty.
