I cut up the rest of the chicken breasts I had in the package and wrapped them in bacon and then place them on the grill too

Tried something different for the salad, a Kale salad. The salad had kale, roasted corn, bacon and the chicken. Made a dressing on olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and some dijon mustard.

Plated. Also made some split pea soup. The salad was alright but not the greatest thing I have ate before. Kale kind of tastes like grass to me.

I agree with Buzz.;)

In my experence, Kale needs to be slowly cooked/steamed/boiled with some sort of pork fat. A good chunk of raw fatty ham is pretty good, or bacon. Fatback is best if you can find it.

Yeah that green stuff prob aint even healthy till it gets loaded up hawg lard etc. Now hearkening back to the old raw vegan days...the very best salad is composed of chopped up raw mustard greens. Now that got some flavor to it and so many vitamins and minerals it just sits in the bowl and shakes.
