Been a while since I posted...haven't cooked much lately. Recovering form hurricane Irene, bailing out the basement from tropical storm Lee and life in general has seriously interfered with the addiction... :(

Posted this cook many times before but I needed to get back on the horse. Our favorite cut of beef, skirt steaks with some grilled sides.

The cast.

Potatoes getting a head start.

So sick of eating out...this was just what the doctor ordered.

Thanks for looking.

Looks excellent. Every time I price skirt steak I get out of the mood to have any. Last time I tried to buy some was 4 bucks a pound or so. That was about ten years ago. No telling how much now. They used to give it away back in the good old days. The yups ruined the deal just like they did on chicken wings. Fortunately they seem to have not yet discovered and driven up the price on turkey necks.
