Sirloin Tips

Bought some sirloin steaks and cubed them up then browned them in a CI skillet

Removed the meat and sauteed some onions and mushrooms

added some flour made a roux and added some beef stock to make a gravy. Once the gravy was thick enough the steak was added just long enough to warm up

Green beans cooked in my wok

Made some mashed potatoes and added the beef and gravy over top.

Love that stuff. You ever tried Carne Guisada? Very similar.

Gonna see his show on Food TV one of these. Especially since Alton Brown eloped with Emeril...so there should be an opening or two. Now is that kinky or what? No pun intended.

I would have like to have seen that with rice instead, but it still looks mighty taste.

I like to see it inside of a flour tort. Rice..beans and salad on the side. Could make a person feel like they were having lunch in Robistown Over There.
