My law partner took his boat out in Prince William Sound this weekend and did some shrimping. A sport fisherman is allow to fish five pots. He brough my wife and I a pound of fresh out of the ocean Aaskan spot shrimp. You can see why they are called spots. They have a prominent white spot behind the head and in front of the tail. I grilled them with with some garlic butter.

Looks fantastic! I could take down a pound of those. Great pix.
 
In my opinion, spots are by far the best prawns/shrimp there is. The bigger the better, and yours look like they are of a very good size. Even better when you don't have to pay for them. Looks great!
 
Those would be great New Orleans BBQ Shrimp style but, I'll take just the way you did them!

I love Spot Prawns (especially with the roe still on) grilled! They are soooooo gooooood! :D
