No Chuck eye steaks available so I settled for a couple of Shoulder steaks. I used my Jacard tenderizer then marinated them for six hours. Served with a simple salad & baked potato.

Looks very good. Glad somebody is getting some use out of one of them Jacccards. I got one which aint been touched in years. If I want to tenderize up a tough old cut of cow just turn me loose with the sharp edge of an Old Hickory butcher knife. Obeject be to whack it till you can't whack it no mo..then keep on whacking. On both sides of course. You can eat it with a spoon if you want.

super John, How tender was they?

Very tender JB. After using the Jaccard I marinated them in Italian dressing with a couple of squirts of lime juice from one of those plastic green containers & fresh garlic for six hours. Really good.

Those steaks look good John. I bought a Jacard tenderizer and I love it, just wish I bought the one 48 blade one...oh well.
