Picked up some ribeyes from Sams Club and salted them for 45 minutes.

Tried something I have wanted to try for a while and put the steaks directly on the coals.

Steaks done. They kind of fell apart trying to get them off of the coals.

Plated with some creamed spinach and some veggie I made in a hobo pack.

Wow. I've got to admit, it takes some balls to throw a good looking piece of meat directly on the coals. What was your take on the technique? Sure looks good.
 
I couldn't really tell a difference but I should have let the coals burn for another 5-10 minutes before I put the steaks on. I'll try it again.
