Only had lamb one time and couldn't eat it. Was in Vegas and ordered it and had a strong oder. Waiter told me it was fine but just couldn't get past smell. Does lamb have a oder or did I just get a bad rack.

lamb can have an odor, especially if it's underdone. I'm no expert
in lamb, but this one was great, even a little overcooked.

Looks good Cap, Ahha, the phantom camera hiding pics from the master?
Mine done that crap too??? Photos I knew I had taken mysteriously dissapered then came from some hidden freakin area inside Mr camera.
I give him a good thrashin with Mr Stick too

Whatcha think of that Red dirt?

Personally I think Mike has just about my favorite all purpose rub, but I haven't used my red dirt yet.

ok, didn't like it near as much of the all purpose. I used it on
steak and I think it's designed more for brisket.

yeah, I did the regular sear instead of reverse.
I don't have a therm on my kettle so I just go
with feel and meat internals with my thermopen.

That looked really good.

But I have to admit, lamb is way down my list of stuff to cook. I did manage to eat a rack and it was pretty damm good. I guess I need to explore a little more.

ronbreaux, Do cajun people cook much lamb meat? I have never seen CK cook it on a double ****** video.... Hmmm?
