I wanted burgers and my wife wanted chicken. To my disgust, she bought 93% lean beef........:Angry: Anyways..........I was not happy. I said you know the rule with burgers, and she replied "that was on sale"! :Surrender: So I splashed some worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper on the burgers and dipped the chicken breasts in some Zesty Dressing. The burgers sucked as I expected them to, no flavor...... nothing like a juicy burger made with ground chuck!

And.. how come my burgers go from patty to shrunk baseball? HA. I use ground chuck 80%. Patty too thick? I make 1/3# and have a press to form them. I read sumthin bout putting and "indent" in the middle to keep em from doin that. Your's look exactly how I want mine to look.

The macaroni salad is "Ranch Bacon Suddenly Salad", we love this stuff!

Ground chuck will shrink down alot more than lean ground beef due to the fat content. If you want chuck to fit the bun you will need to make bigger burgers!! :D
 
I love ground chuck. Granted--they tend to stick and burn quickly on the grill but I love the texture of it. It's like a steak burger.
