Pork and Beef Ribs

Kept it simple and fast tonight. 1 untrimmed rack of pork spare ribs and 2 pitiful semi racks of beef ribs my wife picked up at Wal Mart. Everything seasoned with salt and pepper, grilled indirect/direct around 350-375. The corn was de-silked and soaked in water, salt, pepper and granulated garlic.

Wow, beef ribs need to get on my menu. The smoke ring is incredible. Good looking dinner.

When you add more charcoal do lift the entire grate out or can you fit what you need to through the side hatch?

Nice looking dinner Larry and those beef ribs look meaty. The only ones I can find around here never have very much meat on em.

The 22" kettles have a 'door' on each side where the grate lifts up and you can add through that. However, I didn't need to add any additional from start to finish on this cook about 3 hours from start to finish.

Looks great for just simple fare. Give me a call when it's going to be fancy, I believe I might be in the northern Va area that day.
