Had a great day working, sunny but cold in SoCali and when I got home, my wife said we are having steak for dinner. She picked up 4 NY strips on sale along with a few artichokes. I seasoned the steaks with salt and pepper then grilled em on the gasser until medium rare. We trimmed the artichokes then slid pieces of garlic between the leaves, wrapped em in foil then tossed em on the grill. We also had a nice green salad. Below are the pics.

Ready for the grill.

Nice sear marks. The grilled artichokes

That looked great! Please explain the artichocks.

All I did was cut the top of the leaves off, drizzled with EVOO, tucked fresh garlic down between some on the leaves then wrapped em in foil and set em on the grill. Usually we steam them or cut in half and cook directly on the grill but I wanted to try something different this time. They turned out good, very moist. Give it a try.
