was a success. My good name has been resotred in the eyes of one of my former co-workers. He came over last night and I grilled up two 1 1/2" thick strip steaks. Mine to mid-rare and his to medium (pink). It was as good as I has had hoped for...I hope to hear a review from him on this board...you might recall him...iloveburntsteak! #-o
 
Glad it worked out this time Greg.
We've all had tose cooks where someone is coming to eat, you really want to show them that you can cook, then the whole thing goes down the tube.


Okay... none of the rest of us have had that happen. Only you. #-o

If it makes any difference, the cook before I was S-Faced! We had consumed a bottle of Maker's before I threw the steaks on! :)
