Pigs, do you light it on fire and wait for it to burn down to coals before you grill over it?

I've never seen it though, what kind of wood is it? What's the "Biscuit" thing all about?

It looks like a mix of cherry, White oak and aspen. It lit easy with 2 sheets of news paper and took about 10 min. to get down to coals. I think the biscuit thing comes from there cut, They all are rounds a inch and a half thick. Kind of like hocky pucks. That bag was a freebie from a friend just to check it out, Weight is 11 pounds it sells for $10.00 a bag so I won't be useing it. :) I just got to try it out and do a review of it for a friend that has a bbq store.
