The Costco up here is carrying Original Charcoal Co. Lump Charcoal, if you have a Costco nearby you might want to check. They seem to be carrying it nationwide.

Unity told me once, that he was able to find lump at, and may sound weird at first, roofing supply houses. Apparently they stock lump to fire stoves to heat copper soldering irons that the roofing guys use on copper gutters and other copper metal roofing. I had already found a source of lump so I never followed up on it.

I am sure John will chime in when he reads this.

What kind of BBQ wood do you have access to? Burn it down to coals and grill with that if you have excess wood around your area...

Costco has the lump in stock. HD had the lump briquettes in their stores a year ago bt decided not to keep it in the arsenal!

If you want a lump briquette and can't find the Rancher product the Humphrey's lump briquette isn't a bad substitute!
