What would be your choice of charcoal grills and why?
I am looking at the Webers right now, does anyone have the performer and whats your opinion on it. Is it worth the extra money? I have not found one locally so that I could see it, and its hard to get a feel for it online.
I would really like the Ranch Kettle but I am not looking to spend that much right now.
Does anyone have one of the Gas/Charcoal grills? I remember seeing advertizements on them last year but have not found any or heard of anyone talking good or bad about them.
Thanks for your time!!
Chuckwagoncook said:Larry, how does the gas ignition work? does it work well? This may be a convinence for the SO, she likes to use the grill too, but I have had to sweet talker her into going to charcoal, she would much rather just turn a knob and click the igniter. So if this gas igniter works well then, I might get what I want a little easier...

What model is that Weber? I've seen the Rancher before. I think that was the name of of the one that I saw at an Ace Hardware store in Alabama.
