My Jamaican next door neighbor gave me some Walkerswood Jerk seasoning a couple weeks ago and finally got around to trying it. Since my grill isn't that big I grilled some and put some on the rotisserie so I could give some to my neighbor too. I also was wondering which one would taste better too. Applied the seasoning last night and let it marinade till this evening.
On the grill.

I did did try a piece of the grilled chicken but like the rotisserie better. The jerk seasoning was good but should have used a little more. I used more than the jar suggested but still could have used more jerk flavor.

Real nice lookin' cook V9. In your opinion, what made the chicken better on the rotisserie? Both look amazing, but my eyes say to try the grilled first! :D

Was the skin a lot different? Was one juicier than the other. Were they cooked to the same temp? Enquiring minds need to know this kinda stuff! (As Mr. Bigwheel would say)

Thanks for sharing.

Lucky! I spent my honey moon in Jamaica. That was the first place I had jerk chicken.
I guess it was pretty authentic. I’d love to find a good jerk seasoning. Was your neighbors homemade.
I refuse to make my own since it has like 700 different seasonings in it!

Looks tasty. I did not know jerk chicken was that complicated. Recipe I used a few times was most just parsley green onyawns garlic habs allspice soy sauce s and p etc. I would post it for ya but all my recipes got wiped out in a hard drive disaster. Sure a little Googling could pull up a reasonable facsimile. Might also try the Jamican Jerk from http://www.knoxspice.com.
Got some but aint got around to trying it yet. Sure smells good mon:)
