Real nice presentation Sapo! That infrared grill is out of hand for doing a sear. I like the afterburner technique. Would you consider using it to sear a stake or roast and then finish it off by transferring the meat to a charcoal fire for added flavor?

No. I can put a small chunk of any flavor wood I desire on the burner and get some smoke flavor... I am grilling remember.... :D
