Grilled up a little dinner for the family the other night and thought I would share.

As an appetizer I decided to cook some fried green tomatoes.

For the main course we had tri-tip steaks, corn cooked in the husk, a nice loaf of French bread and a big green salad. Gotta make sure I’m eating my greens.

Larry and I were just talking about fried green maters...
what's in your batter mix?

Salt and peppered em and let em sit for 15 mins while I got the rest of the stuff ready. Dipped in milk, then egg, then flour then some bread crumbs. I was really happy how they turned out and my wife and kids loved them. The only thing I’ll do different next time is to try and cut the maters a little thinner so they get crispy. Oh and of course I salted before eating.
