Flat iron on the cast iron

Flat iron steak. If anybody out there has not tried it yet I highly recommend it. Just as tender as tenderloin, but with more flavor.I grilled this one on my lodge cast iron grill. Salt and pepper only. Grilled to medium rare. Thin side came out medium, but it was still great.

Totally agree, Flat Irons are fantastic! That one looks great!!! I'd love to have one of those little grills!!!

I got one when they first came out and wasn't too impressed....perhaps I
cooked it wrong. Will have to try again

That whole meal looks wonderful. I can't recall having had a flat iron steak, but it looks delicious.
