got in the mood for some skirt steak, could only find flank.
Had some baked chicken wings, which I hate, (poker guy
brought them), so even though they were cooked, I thought
I'd grill em up too.

steak in marinade

got a sante fe grill that I use my wsm charcoal ring with..

wings heating up after a marinade in the fajita stuff

flank on direct

a little too much, trying to learn this grill

put it together with onions and peppers..not bad, a little overdone though

Good job Cappy. I'm glad you aint like some of the vampires which hang out on here which like to drink the dripping blood out of stuff like that. Shudder. As for me and my house we will take a hot pink middle any old day. Now yours looks slightly past that point. Or maybe that is just the way the light is hitting it. It could be one of them Mother Green deals..if you get my drift..wink wink..:) Now please dont tell me yall eat it well done. That is how the Senor Warden demands it...and since she got her new teeth she can chew it up like a Pit Bull. Let me know.

BW, it was overdone....neighbor behind me came over
to hint around for some food and I got distracted.
I like mine medium rare, this one was medium well.
Oh well.

Nick, I'll take some pics this afternoon.

Looks awful good to me Cappy. I'm gonna grill up some wings on Sunday for the Chargers game. Also, I like the idea of using the WSM charcoal ring to contain the charcoal...good idea brudda.

Flank steak got about as much great beefy flavor as a cardboard box. Tastes even mo tasteless than round if that could be possible. Whutchou smoking down there in the swamps Boy? I know some folks who prob take two bags sight unseen
