Trying to cook a lot of the things I've seen on here over the past few months. Started with clams. Took a bit of effort to open the darn things (only stabbed myself with the butter knife I was using twice  ), made a butter, minced garlic & cayenne pepper mixture, cooked on the grill indirectly for a few minutes before moving to direct. Ate them with either a dash of tobasco or sliced jalepeno. They were alright, but not worth the effort. My wife didn't care for them at all.

Also had chicken thighs marinating in teriyaki suace and some fingerling potatoes that I coated with olive oil, salt and pepper. Cooked the thighs to 164* internal temp. Finished over the coals to crisp up the skin. Turned out real good.

Good looking chicken. It's funny how something you cook sometimes doesn't come out as expected. I did that last night with some chicken where I got to much rub on it and it turned out disappointing. I guess I should man up to them lesser quality cooks and post them, as well . . . ah, maybe not.

Very nice looking chicken, potatoes and clams. I'm too lazy to shuck clams so I usually just steam them.
