Jim, if the clams and shrimp are from a month ago I wouldn't eat them, they are probably bad! Nice looking meals!

Okay, I give. I've never heard of boiled peanuts before. Without leaving myself wide open for a wisecrack . . . what do you do with boiled peanuts, besides the obvious answer?

I don't know a use other than eating them as they are. I think they are better spicy-zatarans crab boil or tony's in the water is badass.

Boiled peanuts were a staple when I was growing up in south Mississippi. I used to remember my dad going on Saturday mornings down to the produce stand to get a big mess of boiled peanuts.

not to hijack the thread, but I went to southern miss and all my extended family is in south mississippi. For you non-mississippians-Every gas station has homemade boiled penuts, fried chicken, and some form of bbq ribs....and a fruit stand every mile or so on 49 between jackson and hattiesburg (they boil crawfish).

I love cajun, but I made these with Old Bay seasoning.
Came out great, but I still prefer the cajun. One guy I work
with ate them for 30 minutes straight...they are addictive.
