Another BBQ Pit Boys recipe I had to try, onion bacon cheese buds.Cut up some onions and placed a piece of bacon on top and cooked until the bacon was done. Also cooked up about half of the pack of bacon also.

Crumbled the bacon and added it back to the bacon along with some cheese

Saw a video where a guy was grilling some Belgium endive. I never heard of it before, saw some at the store and decided to give it a try.

Holy smokes that looks good. Did the oinions taste as good as they sound/look?

No creativity at all Buzz. Everything in this meal I saw someone else make and wanted to try. The onion is from the BBQ Pit Boys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTF2SCaL ... index_more

The onions with the bacon on top cooked for an hour indirect and were probably on another 20 minutes after that but I was lifting the lid a lot cooking other things. The dipping sauce really made these onions great. I used mayo, chipotle in adobo sauce, granulated garlic, and black pepper.
I'll be making these more often.

Give yourself more credit, John. I watched that pit boys vid before and your's looks better, imo. You really make great food and we all enjoy YOUR creations.

Dang Vermin believe you outdid yourself on that one. I am currently gnawing on the monitor. Those Nathan dawgs are my favorite.
