Chicken Pot Pie

Leftover chicken from a previous cook, frozen mixed vegetables and a can of flaky Grand biscuits, flour to make a gray and a few seasonings and you have chicken pot pie. I pulled the Grand biscuits apart so I had twice as many and laid them on top of my chicken mixture and cut some of the biscuits in half to fill in the gaps.

Chicken mixture in a CI skillet and laying the biscuits on top

Covered and brushed a little melted butter on top

On the grill to bake, should have checked it about 5 minutes sooner.

Not the prettiest looking meal but it tasted really good.

Looks good. Can we eat it with a spoon and the biscuits on the side?

It is getting to be Pot Pie season here and now I am inspired to make one, but probably in my oven I usually use pie crust but I like the biscuit idea. Your pot pie looks excellent.
