Decided to make some burgers for the kids the other day... used Paul Kirk's recipe for bacon and onion burgers.. my oldest daughter said they were the best burgers she ever had - don't tell Danielle ;)

How about the recipe?

It's from Paul Kirk's Championship Barbecue Book, page 245

Bacon and Onion Burgers:

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup minced bacon, fried until crisp and drained
1/2 cup barbecue sauce of your choice (I used Sweet Baby Ray's)
1/4 cup minced onion
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

buns and cheese of choice

Combine in a large bowl, blending well and form into six paties.

Well I second that motiion. If something can beat a good burger I aint figgered out whut it is yet. Looks excellent. Tippin the hat to the cookie on the deal.

Great job Vlado. I may try that. Thanks for testing :)

JB, can you put a lighting rod or ground strap or something to prevent you from looking like Vlado's fries?
