Got that right. ;) But only if they do them right. I see burger mashing every Thursday at the cruise night here in town. :roll: Yea, I'll have a tasteless leather burger for two bucks. :roll: No thanks. They just don't know any better. :oops:

JB, I see you like a little dog with your chili! Homemade recipe?

Yes Homemade

3lbs grd chuck Or 1.5 chuck & 1.5 ground pig
1 onion
1 bell pepper
2 to 6 garlic toes
1 can stewed tomatos
2 tbs heapin chili pow
1 tbs cumun or to taste
1 tbs mex oregano
1 tbs paparica
Salt & cayeen to taste
1 can V8 (12oz)
Dry red wine...enough to form a gravy/sauce
cilantro (optional)
Chop dice cut & brown up meats & veggies,
add other stuff & cook for about 6 beers.
If ya added to much damm wine thicken with masa,

Pigs they was Ball Park Beef dogs
 
I done a video or 2 some time ago showin the chili being made.
Lots of times I'll forget to show a step while making a video :roll:
The dawg in the photo above is from one of those other videos....
I wuz so busy eatin I forgot to snap photos of the hot dawg :oops:

Also keep in mind JB never realy measures the ingrediants I just dump some in my hand & taste after everything is in the pot, then ajust as needed.

The recipe should be real close though.

And BOYs, Use FRESH! Spices... They have a damm shelf life ;)
 
Where did you get a tomato that looks that good?? That must have come out of your garden! Store tomatoes here are red on the outside and green in the middle..or hollow.
