Blue cheese jalapeno burgers

with apple smoked honey/molassas cured bacon and augratin potatos.

Great looking burger. Did you boil the jalapenos, scrape out seeds then corse chop them and add them to the meat? Blue cheese pressed into the center of each patty? I'm ready for some - yum, yum! :D

All I did was chop the cleaned jalapenos and crumble up some blue cheese then mix it right in with the burger meat. Some will char, some will ooze, and the rest stays inside for a piece in every bite.

Cook them at 350 and switch from direct to indirect as needed.
 
Hey Ron, I tried them last night and they were fantastic! Wasn't sure how much jalapeno to put in the meat mix so I went conservative to be safe. I tasted one raw and it was hot!! Ended up only putting about 3/4 of one jalapeno in.

End result was that I should have put in two. What it lacked it heat, it sure made up for in taste. That burger (with bun) was awesome.
