Went to buy a beef brisket the other day and bought what I believe is a roast of some sort. The guys at my local market do not speak english and the cuts not your typical affair. Anyway it looked a bit like a brisket so we went for it.

Final smoke with onion skins and thyme. Not sure how well this stood up to the rub and hickory but I will smoking a chicken in onion skins in the future.

Don't think it is a brisket. Looks more like a rib roast but I doubt the butchers would have mis priced something like that.

It looks darn good to me.

It may be a chuck or shoulder roast cut differently.
It does look good
 
Looks like chuck to me... which... is mighty tasty! That one looks delicious whatever you call it. :)
