Beef Steak Pitas

My spin on a Philly cheese steak. Seasoned some unmarinated carne asada meat with some salt, pepper, and granulated garlic then put in a ziplock bag and added some Worcestershire sauce and put in the fridge for a couple of hours.

First cooked up some Mexican onions, some potatoes and started to saute some onions.

Added some cactus to the grill and aded some sweet peppers to the onions that got a head start.

Cooking the meat. The coals were so hot and the meat cut so thin that as soon as I got the meat on it was time to flip.

2 lbs worth

chopped the meat up, added the onions and peppers and some provolone cheese in half and sliced cheddar in the other half. Then on the grill to wrm the pitas and melt the cheese.

Ready to serve!!

My plate. They were so good I had another one. Thanks for looking!!

Man John. If there is one thing about you, you eat good. I want to try the nopales but the ones I had already prepared tasted a lot like green beans and I have beans. Does grilling them spruce'em up and do you season them?
