While surfing for more things to cook in my Dutch Ovens I ran across dump cake. The name comes from dumping all the goods into the pot and cooking it.
I took this and that from different ones.
Melt 1/4 stick butter in the warmed pot on the stove top. Dumped in a 14 oz can of Bing cherries and their juice (pitted). Sprinkled with brown sugar. Poured 1/4 cup Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk. Spread a box of dry yellow cake mix evenly over the whole works. Dot the top with pads of butter. Put the pot lid on and bake at 325* for close to an hour.
This is instant diabetes. LOL Great finish to BBQ.
Note; had to use oven since the smoker is at 140* smoking kielbasa, otherwise throw it in a smoker while cooking something.
No pics. It was brown and lumpy on the top....not much to look at.

Rag,

Don't know if you did it or not, but in the future, if you line your Dutch oven with aluminum foil it makes clean-up a lot easier.

Ask me how I know.
