What a day

A few weeks ago one of our Captains asked if anyone was interested in playing softball with the kids of Burn Camp.

Burn camp is a place for young victims of sever burns to go and play and learn and have fun for a week. It is a great cause put on by the IAFF. Our local had 9 members show up to play.

We started out with Softball and ended up with Kick ball. What a great day.

I volunteered to cook Q for them next year.

I used to love when we would go play tackle football with those kids.

Thanks guys. It was a great day. My buddy's daughter and 2 of her friends who all play softball together also went with us. I told them that its hard to find youngsters today that would take the time to do something like that. They deserve a huge round of aplause.
