Unity, or somebody, posted info on making your own vinegar. I bought an apple cider and red wine starter. Mixed everything up in separate jugs about a month ago.
Took a sniff of it yesterday. Let me tell has a long way to go.
Didn't smell like anything good.
I'll report back next month.
