my good friend Jamie from Roadkill Grill suffered a stroke
Saturday. He had landed a big gig at a corporate function
Saturday night at Darlington for the race, but woke up
unable to move his right leg and arm. He's in the hospital.

Jamie is one of the best guys I know on the circuit....he's
always glad to help you set up and tear down, lend you
extension cords etc, feed you the whole time, and try to
get you drunk so he can beat you!

He's the one who modified my gasser into a dual cooker,
and has helped me on some vending and cater gigs.

Please keep him in your thoughts.

Thoughts and Prayers going out to Jamie! I met him at the first SOTB and he helped set up that CLUSTERF&%CK tent we had, remember that Jim??

Sorry about your buddy, Jim. With just a bit of luck he may come out of it okay -- they're getting better all the time at treating and rehabbing stroke victims.

That really sucks...he sounds like a great guy, which makes it harder to take. Now's the time to be his friend. Hang in there.

Very sorry to hear that Cappy, best wishes . Hopefully they got him to treatment within three hours of it, if so they can do wonders.

ok, here's the deal....Jamie spent a few weeks in Florence getting
treatment and the re-hab thing. He is now at home and undergoing
rehab there....as a result, he is now able to walk using a cane!

His spirit is good as well....a fundraiser is being planned and I'll
have details on that soon.
