Butcher had huge ham hocks, just had to get one; it was 2 1/2 pounds. Guess I better do up some beans.




Made a thick bean soup, had baby brussel sprouts in butter sauce , and my wifes hoe cake.

Bush Navy beans drained and rinsed. I've done both ways, dried and canned, cannot tell any difference.
