He was right about that "distinct flavor", anyway. Of course, you could get the same effect on a gas grill, just by marinating your meat in kerosene. ;)

Well, yes ... I grill on my wooden deck...I soak it first with lighter fluid to be sure it is water proof. then I set the charcoal chimney with lighter fluid soaked coals on a flammable surface. Everyone used to use lighter fluid or something to start the grill in the old days. If they say they didn't they are lying!!! :evil: I'm talking before the electric starters. Most people used to use briquettes too... Of course folks down here have always used mesquite wood since it grows like weeds..Also I learned that videos without the word "BOY" or "YALL" in every other sentence are quite boring..except to woodman... :LOL: Other than that, I think the video displays common sense which many people these days don't have....read above.... :shock:
