Solar BBQ?
Just watched Bobby Flay's bbq show, and he featured this guy who made a solar grill...took a shiney parabolic thingy that reflected light onto some ribs. They were sizzling at 195 degrees, pretty wacky. Then the guy threw in a single charcoal briquette for "that bbq flavor".
Well good for him. I don't need no stinking shiney disk...it's about 110 on my patio according to the therm. Went to work at 5:30 this morning, and it was 81 degrees with a heat index of 88. That was the overnight low.
Think I'll just throw my ribs out on the patio.
