I love soft shelled crabs! Never tried smoking them, but have grilled them and they were great!

Drizzle with a little EVOO, salt and pepper, grill over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, drizzle with fresh lemon juice!
 
Sounds interesting.. I have eaten them fried in a poboy only..Let us know how they come out.. :D
 
They only fry em in a seasoned corn meal batter down here, Its the same as fish fry batter. Due to being a shell fish It could take on a nasty flavor during the cold to smoke temp transition. They aint cheap either, I would do like Larry said Grill em Or just deep fry em.

Oh ya gotta clean the Dead Men (gills) out before cooking...

i was thinking bout this the other day. if i did smoke them i would wrap in bacon 1st then put on smoker .
