Good start. Why not use youtube? It may be easier.

Also, on my program you can choose the level of quality for the vids and slideshow. The higher the quality the longer the upload but who cares. That might help with the fuzzy pics.

what's your program?

iMovie. But I assume that other programs have the same option. In iMovie you are asked to choose the quality just prior to uploading to youtube.
