I have a MAC Santoku, not cheap but it is the best knife I own. Japanese knifes need to sharpened differently than most knifes but is well worth the effort.

Well Bruce, I don't like to advertise on the other forum, because of Ritchie's presence and all, but I'm goin with a Klose. It was a sea-saw battle, and I almost went with Gator, but, I currently own a Klose, am happy with it, and really wanted another. I will say that the quality is similar, and Gator will give you more pit for the money. Dave Klose buils one hell of a pit though! Woody

I might have to take a road trip this summer and you can show it to me. I'll bring the adult beverages.

Maybe we'll have a little party. Greg? You can come too. This time, I'll actually let you eat something. Bill isn't too far away either. WM

That's so New York! Where are you? Queens? or Brooklyn? Bayside? Most folks call them kni-v-es! We still call them "johnson's" though! Like, "hey, has anyone seen the butter johnson?"
I've been dyin to use that one, but can't figure out where! Weedman
