i am looking at a cub cadet new 2007 GT2550 drive shaft type no belts to go bad 3400.00 brand new just a 2007 model .

do any of you have any back ground on riding mowers and if so please tell .

Last year I bought an Ariens/Gravely zero turn mower with a
power assist rear tripple bagging system.

I'd highly recommend one to anyone. It cuts mowing time more
then in 1/2, it's like mowing the lawn in your easy chair.....seriously.

They have earth/snow plow , snowblower , and sweeper attachments
for the front also. Pretty much every brand sells them, so a person
could stay loyal to Cub Cadet, John-Deere, Gravely etc... Personally,
I've also been a fan of Gravely and try to stick with them.

Don't buy a DEERE you'll be sorry if ya do. X Mark & Grass Hopper is what most lawn services use, Dad had a grass hopper for over 25 years, he used it to trim with on his 25 acer property, He also had a Kabota 4 wheel drive deisel with a 42 inch Woods for the main cutting job

well i see no need for zero turn at my place and to many parts to replace on them . i dont like john deer mowers.... now JD tractors are different . any others out there with thoughts .

Some of those yard contractors run them funny looking machines over a lawn fater than would in a car.

:? Mines a hydrostatic transsmison and a regular old
vertical shaft gas engine, three blades and one belt.

Same replacables as a regular mower, you just steer different
and sit different

My neighbor has one of them new Cub Cadets
don't know if it's because he isn't happy with it, or if he's
just jealous watching me be done mowing in way less then half
the time he is, but he's talking about buying a zero turn this summer.
