I've got TiVo (in NC). But not down here.
Had it since it first came out.

I heard she said her celebrity status is causing problems. She has a couple strange characters following her around. One is in a wheelchair & the other has a dog with an unusual feature.

Ehhh... Tivo...Devito ...
Most cable/dish packages offer a Digital Video Recorder as a selling point. Hell, My kid has his own. It works on the unit in the living room. There's an F type going to his TV and his separate remote works only on his drive on RF, while our works on our drive using IR.
I'm not knocking Tivo, just syaing that there's more that the Tivo.
Sorry if this was off topic.
No reponses neede here. PM me for discussion.

The DVR's that Dish offers are worthless pieces of crap. I know I've got 2 of them. Direct TV uses Tivo. Tivo rules! Nothing else compares.

Agree on the interface. The GUI is cumbersome to navigate.
:Edit...
Meant to say that "I" agree that the Dish guide is a PITA.
But when Satelite is all you can get, DishNetwork is the cheapest for the channels my family wants, not to mention they offer a 2 HDD DVR for no extra charge on the package I chose...
Tivo would just be an extra $13 on top of the the dish that I would need anyway.
Not arguing...just saying where I'm comin from. :-k :-k [-X For those that have a bunch of options, I'm sure Tivo is an awesome choice.

I still use the Microsoft Ultimate TV. I can record 2 different shows at the same time, while I watch a different 3rd show. I don't miss nothin'!!! Only $10 a month.
