Orillia

John I am 25 minutes from Orillia and I also lived there for 5 years.

Love it there.

PERCH festival is fun.

Rama is great

low house prices beautiful lakes and scenery it is awesome. If it wasn't for the longer commute for hubby we would live there.

PM me for anything you need or want information about.

Oh man! PERCH?????? Yellow Lake Perch is THE BEST EATING FISH ON THE PLANET!!!! We have a PerchFest here in Grand River,Ohio. I go perch fishing 3-4 times a summer. Limit here is 40 per person and it is not unusual to limit in an hour! They are actually just "bite size" walleye. We get "jumbo" perch that go up to 12-15" . Love that perch!

John, it is usually around the second weekend in September. That is about the time the perch start "moving in" and the jumbos are in. The also have a tournament involved. Come on down! I have a buddy who has a boat. We'll go out and get some! Woody
