Can you tell me if yall do this....? Have you ever made bbq sauce in the smoker? What I'm saying is: Put it in a metal bowl and smoke the sauce? Also, What is the easiest "Pork Rub" to make... spices and amounts..just basic, I'm not asking for your secret recipes....

I don't do it, but you can put your sauce in a flat pan to get more
surface exposure to pick up more smoke flavor.

I like simple rubs on pork. Salt pepper and sugar works fine with me.

If you decide to smoke the sauce, don't over do it or you're gonna end up with nothing but smoke flavor.

Do a google search for rub recipes, you'll find more than you need. Three things you must have in my opinion in a BBQ rub is salt, sugar and pepper. Use those ingredients as a base and add whatever other spices or herbs you like to customize it to suit your taste. The salt and sugar will also aid in the bark formation during the BBQ process.

Or you could just buy more Wolfe Rub!

SS smoke some salt on a baking sheet then use it to make a sauce, You can also make smokey margarittas with salt, I'm gonna have to start chargin you for tips Boy ;)
