OK, Don't let the traffic control officers find out.

Big outlaw dragrace on Long island tomorrow morning.

The contestants:

Me in my pure stock '05 FX35AWD 18" tires. -vs-
My neighbor's 14 year old son on a Kawasaki ATV. Max speed 30 mph.

The course: Up a half mile 8% (estimate) hill.

The condidtions 15" to 24" estimate newly fallen snow. 15* et. fahrenheit 30 to 40 mph winds.

Both contestants to start from a dead stop 20 feet in front of the start of the hill.

The wager: Loser has to host the other family to watch the Eagles / Falcons game Sunday afternoon.

Whatdya think? Like my chances?

This is a joke right? That ATV is gonna kick the crap out of your hedious looking automobile or suv or whatever that beetle looking this is classified as...have fun hosting MonkeyBoy!!

If you're gonna race a $40+k vehicle in the snow against a kid on an ATV, you've obviously got more money than brains! I would just volunteer to host the party! :-D

I agree with Larry, You SUCK!!

Don't know about that......

The guys on the FX board say I win cause the course has no turns........

Besides, I've got a better TV set and his son's gonna dig out my driveway before the reace :evillaugh:

BTW. I'm a pretty good negotiator. I paid a lot less than $40K for it.

Well unless you paid $25K for it then you are still crazy! With that much snow and stock tires on your over priced Nissan, I'd put my money on the kid!

I agree with Larry, Rob...You are going to flame...just think, your losing streak will begin at 1 and the Eagles will roll to number 4!!! You both SUCK!!

I called it off. Got a ride on his ATV and it was no contest. Wasn't gonna push the speed but had no idea how fast an ATV really is.

It was no contest Susan.

The only way I could have won would have been to get the speed up pretty high (30 to 50 mph) toward the end of the run and that just wouldn't have been safe. Gettin hurt or hurting someone doing something like that would've just been stupid.

Somtimes ya' just got to lay your cards down and hand your chips over.
