I received my info packet today from Jim Early, who is spearheading this thing.

There are several levels of membership, from 35 to 150 annually, to
1000 bucks lifetime. You get decals, newsletter, card, certificate, etc.

Logo has been designed, and hats/shirts will be available soon.

No sauce or cooking style will be favored over another. 2 festivals/competitions are planned, and videos of current pit masters
are planned to preserve tradition. 25 Historic Barbecue Places will
be designated as part of a BBQ trail/tour for folks to traverse on a
Historic BBQ Trail.

To request more info/application, just email Mr. Early at
jim@jimearly.com

My membership is in the mail. Volunteers of all types are needed.
