The father-in-law asked if I would cook a chili for his work to enter into a friendly contest.I can't pass up cooking so I said sure :D . There's no prize to speak of, but if it will help a small business get their name out thre I'm game. The first time I entered this chili in a contest I took 2nd out of 30. I'm interested what happens this time. Different tastebuds ya know?

Just learned from my FIL that the outfit that was holding the cook-off canceled it last minute. :x . The employees at his work got to eat it this afternoon and all said it was the best they ever had :) I'll take that as if I got first!
